:: Fanlistings? ::
According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting ^^ And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing ^^If you're interested in knowing still more about the fanlistings, check any of both fanlisting networks for more information: The Fanlistings Network / The Anime Fanlistings Network
:: thriller master ::
Maybe you're wondering why, considering what I've just said in the bio page about Naoki Urasawa's versatility, I've named the fanlisting thriller master, when he hasn't focused in that genre. Actually, I couldn't come up with a good name, and then EstefanÃa suggested me a few, this one between them. I thought it would fit because, though one of the things I love the most about Urasawa-sensei is what I've said, his versatilty, and though my first contact with him was through Yawara!... Monster was the story that made me fall in love definitely with his work (and yet is the only one of his works I've read from beginning to end, because is the only one that has been licensed in my country besides 20th Century Boys, that is still being published). I enjoyed Monster so, so much - after getting each volume and reading it, I couldn't wait until the next one because the suspense was killing me... and more or less the same has been happening to me with 20th Century boys (though I'm not really sure if this one could be defined as a thriller, but anyway). That's why I've decided, in the end, to name the fanlisting this way... as a little tribute to my fav Urasawa's work(s). But as I've said before, the idea came from EstefanÃa - so the credit is all hers ;) Thanks so much girl! <3
:: site layout & credits ::
The layout has been made using three different pictures: the one in the left is Inokuma Yawara from, obviously, Yawara!; the one in the middle is one from 20th Century Boys with, from left to right, Yoshitsune, Otcho and Kenji; and the one in the right is our favorite doctor, Kenzo Tenma from Monster :) The first image was taken from Yawaramanga.com, the second one from the mangascreener scanlations (no longer available, as the manga has been licensed in the US) and the third one from the Monstrum Galleries. The fonts I've used have been Georgia (for the layout & site text), Verdana (dor the disclaimer below) and 04b (for the button codes), and the pattern used for the site background, from Squidfingers.
Thriller Master is a Howlingmoon.net
