fanlisting

According to TFL, a fanlisting is "a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor, actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.". So, it's just exactly what it says: a list of fans. Maybe you think it isn't a specially useful thing... But isn't something good showing to the world your devotion and love for a determinate character, actor, book or whatever? So, this is what you do when you join a fanlisting. And, of course, you can always have the chance to meet other people who like the same you do... and that's always a great thing :)

why

I worship Naoki Urasawa, 20th Century Boys is one of my fav manga series ever and Otcho is my fav character there, without a doubt. That's why I've wanted to make this fanlisting, and I will turn the site into a shrine as well as soon as possible, because as far as I know there isn't any site focused in Otcho yet, and I'd like to make my own ^^

Why I like Otcho, you ask? Well, let's say he's one of the few manga characters I've really fallen in love with at first sight... in this case, if you consider as "first sight" the first time we see him as an adult. Not that I didn't like him at first, when we can see him in Kenji's childhood flashbacks... but you'll have to agree with me about something: we don't look at child!Otcho the same way after we've met him as a grown man. Maybe because Urasawa-sensei was trying to make us think that he was Friend at first, remember? So at first, child!Otcho appeared to be a little... obscure, I guess. But once you know Otcho's true nature, once you get to know his whole story... how could you not love him? I honestly think he's one of the best characters I've ever seen in a manga series, that's why I've wanted to make this little tribute to him... even when most of it is still under construction ^^;

The scripts this site uses are Enthusiast (by Angela) to manage the fanlisting and NL-PHPmail (by Sasha) for the contact form.

As for the fonts I've used... Georgia everywhere except for the site title itself, for which I used a font called Cut N Paste, that you can find at DaFont :)
